  1. This directory contains all language files and other translations for analog.
  2.  
  3. Notes to translators:
  4.  
  5. Files are named after country codes (not language codes); or in some cases
  6. country code plus an additional letter indicating the character set.
  7.  
  8. There is a variety of files which can be translated, but only one is
  9. essential, namely the language file.
  10.  
  11. Here are all the possibilities. If the country code is xy, then the language
  12. MUST have
  13.  
  14.   xy.lng   Language file in the language's usual character set
  15.  
  16. It MAY have
  17.  
  18.   xya.lng  Language file transliterated into US-ASCII, i.e. no accents etc.
  19.  
  20. Every language is ENCOURAGED to have
  21.  
  22.   xydom.tab                Domains file in local character set 
  23.   xydesc.txt               Report descriptions file in local character set
  24.  
  25. and if it has an ASCII language file, it SHOULD then have corresponding
  26.  
  27.   xyadom.tab, xyadesc.txt
  28.  
  29. It MAY also have
  30.  
  31.   xyform.html  Form interface
  32.   xy.cfg       Configuration file with any locale-specific commands: for
  33.                example LANGUAGE and TYPEOUTPUTALIAS commands
